Description
Measurement of density using the “weigh in air” and “weigh in water” method.
Application
Density measurement of cured rubber compounds with specific gravities from 1.05 to 2.00.
Test Capabilities
- The D2020 Density / Specific Gravity unit uses a “weigh in air” and “weigh in water” method.
- Carrier is “wetted” prior to the first weight to improve consistency of data.
- Rapid readings reduce the effect of water absorption.
