Daisy

Description

Daisy software collects and processes laboratory test results from a testing instrument or manual entry of data. Data may be automatically collected from different instruments. For any instrument that presents graphics, it is possible to toggle between viewing the curves and the individual data points displayed as a dynamic trend graph. Results are stored on hard disk and recalled for analysis. Automatic on-line reports may also be printed.

With limits set, Daisy will provide automatic validation (pass/fail) at the end of the test. Daisy programs interface with the test procedure and limits programs of Compound. Parameters and test requirements set during recipe development work automatically flow through to test procedures. The program also produces reports and overviews, and generates control charts and histograms for Statistical Process Control.

Laboratory technicians will be able to:

  • Automatically acquire data directly from unattended test equipment
  • Collect data for quick, comprehensive on-line statistical process analysis (SPC) and reporting for quality control
  • View, plot and compare curves of results, on-line or off-line
  • Select, view and carry out work orders generated by Compound
  • Review and improve test procedures and process monitoring
  • Connect virtually any make, type and age of test equipment either directly through file exchange or via a custom interface
  • Enter data via keyboard from manual tests concurrently with taking data directly from the equipment
  • Ensure ISO9000 and Year 2000 compliance in testing procedures

Run on any Windows-based operating system, Windows 95/98/ME and Windows NT4, Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems.
