The FT-Rheology via Large Amplitude Oscillatory Shear (LAOS) is one of the most sensitive test methods to characterize non-linear response of viscoelastic materials in a shear/viscometric flow and probably the best way to quantify the level of Long Chain Branching (LCB) in polymers. Richard Hanzlik has over 10 years’ experience in the polymer industry with over 15 publications on elastomer testing. He received his BS in chemical engineering from Cleveland State University and an MBA from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Richard is our resident in house rheology and testing expert at Alpha Technologies with over 5 years of experience using Alpha instruments to solve customer issues.
